Ørjan Matre and Erlend Apneseth has written the new piece Terra Incognita that will premiere on the festival Ultima. This will also be the first time Erlend Apneseth Trio and BIT20 Ensemble will perform together.
BITWaves are headed for the festival Ultima to make compositions created by the sound of water.
Use the sounds around you to create your own compositions at BIT20 and Ultima’s workshop.

In five days we will experiment and challenge our own creativity. How can different sounds come together and form a musical expression? How can we create visual art expressions as pictures and sculptures with different materials and objects?
This school is for you who sing, play an instrument, are interested in music technology or want to make visual art! Go to the registration form to rank which group you prefer to be a part of.

We will spend one day outside photographing and collecting materials

The summer school will provide iPads
No previous experience with music or music technology is needed

When: The first summer school will take place the 24th of June – 28th of June with a closing ceremony 28th of August 2PM
When: The second summer school will take place the 1st of July - 5th of July with a closing ceremony 5th of July 2PM
Time: 10AM – 3PM every day
Specify in the registration form if you want to participate the first or the second week.
A reserved spot will be confirmed by mail.
The summer school will end with a closing ceremony for family and friends at Fana Kulturhus.
The summer school will provide a meal each day
-You’re born between 2009 and 2014
-You can participate all five days
-You’re able to work both independently and in groups

*Children from families with economical challenges can participate without paying the fee.
